My name is Tianjiao Karnes, but you can call me Tina. I was born and raised in China and came to the U.S. in 2007 at the age of 17 to study Finance and Accounting at the University of Toledo, Ohio where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. After graduation, I worked in tax-related fields and later married my husband, who is a proud U.S. veteran.
Growing up, my parents were investors in real estate, and that’s where I discovered my passion for industry. In 2015, we started our real estate journey by purchasing foreclosure properties at auction to flip, rent, or resell. I later got my real estate license to better assist myself, my family, and my friends.
Over the years, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience in house flipping, real estate investing, buying and selling, 1031 exchanges, various financing strategies, Section 8 rentals, and both long-term and short-term rentals.
I’m also a proud mom of three! When I’m not working, we love taking my kids to local events and exploring new places as a family whenever we can. I’m an active member of Gwinnett Church, which plays a big role in our lives. I believe strongly in faith and giving back to the community.
